First I start on paper sketching out an idea, then I use a photo of that sketch to trace it digitally and begin working in the program that best suits the project needs. I create most of my artwork in Clip Studio Paint EX (CSP). My main strengths are drawing humans and animals, and I’m currently taking art classes to further develop my skills and broaden the kinds of work I can create. In addition to CSP, I’m proficient with Adobe Illustrator and several other Adobe applications. I’m open for commissions, including Graphic Design and custom illustrations, and I’m happy to collaborate on new creative ideas. Pricing varies based on project needs.
My name is Mackenzie, and I am a passionate graphic designer and illustrator. I am currently pursuing an Associate of Applied Science degree with a Graphic design certificate at Rock Valley College while balancing my coursework with a position as a student worker. My goal is to build a strong foundation in graphic art and design and to learn how to create compelling visual work for branding, digital media, and other creative fields.
